Our story began when Dimitri messaged Eleni on her name day, May 21. One conversation led to another, and soon we realized something meant to be—we were both booked on the same flight to Greece on July 5, 2015. Since Dimitri was traveling on his own, Eleni invited him to sit with her and her family on the flight. We officially started dating the day before our flight and surprised our parents with the news right at the airport. The journey to Greece became the beginning of our journey together.

Our three-year anniversary called for a memorable dinner date—celebrating three years of love and growing together.

When the world slowed down during COVID, so did our travel plans—but not our sense of adventure. We traded far-off destinations for a local getaway in Ottawa and discovered that staying close to home could be just as special.

We love to travel, and one of our most unforgettable adventures took us to Iceland. From breathtaking landscapes to once-in-a-lifetime moments, it was a trip we’ll always cherish.

From many adventures around the world, Florida continues to hold a special place in our hearts. The beach, the sunshine, and time together make it one of our favourite places to return to.

One of our favourite adventures took us to New Jersey to watch Dimitri’s beloved Chelsea FC compete in the FIFA Club World Cup. The energy was unforgettable—and the result even better. Chelsea won and were crowned Champions of the World. An incredible trip, an unforgettable win, and a moment we’ll always cheer about together. UP THE CHELS!

Our love story came full circle in the place where it all began. We started dating on our way to Greece, and years later, Greece became the setting for our next chapter. Surrounded by the beauty of Kefalonia, Dimitri asked Eleni to spend forever together—turning the place that marked our beginning into the place where we said yes to a lifetime.
